How much can I transfer?
You can transfer up to CNY 50,000 per transaction.
How does my recipient receive the money?
Each time you make a transfer, Alipay will send an SMS and app notification to the recipient with all the transfer details, to verify the details before receiving the amount.
The Recipient has to complete verification before the transaction expires or the transaction will automatically be reversed. To verify the Alipay account, for Chinese citizens, you can verify with a Chinese ID; for Hong Kong or Macau residents, you can verify with a Mainland Travel Permit.
If the recipient is a Chinese citizen, they can receive the transferred funds through a China-issued debit card that’s linked to Alipay, as direct transfers to an Alipay wallet are not permitted.
If you're a Hong Kong or Macau resident with a Mainland Travel Permit, you can only receive into your Alipay balance, and not the bank card tied to Alipay.

What types of documents do I need to provide?
For transfers made to immediate family, Alipay may request supporting documentation, such as a kinship letter, to confirm the relationship with the recipient.
For transfers made to yourself, Alipay may also ask for a copy of your recent salary slip.
If you are having issues with the documents or have queries on submission, do reach out to Alipay directly via their Help Centre on the Alipay app.
Can I cancel a transfer that I already sent?
Once your transfer has been sent to your recipient or completed, it cannot be cancelled. All transfers completed by YouTrip are final, and we can’t reverse or recall payments.
Some of the reasons why the transfer may not be successful
1. Recipient has not completed identity verification on Alipay
2. There is a mismatch in the registered name and ID stated on the Alipay app
3. Recipient is not a Chinese citizen or a Hong Kong or Macau resident
