Before getting started, ensure that your child has their own mobile number and email address, and that their physical card has already been activated. The app cannot be set up before the first card activation.
To set up the YouTrip app for your child:
1. Open your YouTrip app and switch to your Child's account view
2. Tap 'Manage' & then 'Child app access'
3. Enter your child's mobile number and email address, and verify with OTP
4. Download the YouTrip app onto your child's mobile phone
5. Have your child sign in using the mobile number and email you registered
6. For your child's initial login (and any subsequent logins on a new device), a security prompt will be sent to you.
When prompted, approve their login on your YouTrip app within 60 minutes.
Troubleshooting
Verification code issues
- Code Expiry: The code is valid for 3 minutes. If it has expired or was entered incorrectly, request a new one.
- Too Many Attempts: Excessive requests for verification codes may temporarily block changes to your account. Try again after one hour.
New Mobile Number Issues
- If your new number is already registered with another YouTrip account or is a recycled number, you will not be able to update it. Please contact us for assistance, as identity verification will be required before updating
