Your YouTrip card will be valid till the last day of the month of expiry, as reflected on the card. For example, if your card expiry is displayed as 09/21, it'll be valid up till 30 September 2021, 2359hrs.
If your card is expiring soon, you will receive a replacement card from us at no cost. Here's how to get your new card.
1) Request for a replacement card through the YouTrip app
Tap the banner on the app homepage indicating that your card is expiring, which will be displayed within 60 days of your current card's expiry date. You'll then be prompted to to verify your residential address.
2) Verify or update your residential address
If the address displayed is still your current residential address, tap "Yes, it's correct" to confirm your replacement card request. Your new card will be sent to this address within 3-5 working days.
If you need to edit your residential address, tap "I've got a new address" instead. Tap on the Settings tab, followed by Personal Information to update your address. Refer to this page for full instructions on updating your residential address.
3) Activate your new card through the YouTrip app
Upon receiving your new card, you'll need to activate it via the YouTrip app before you can start using it. Tap on the banner on your homepage to activate your new card by entering your new Y-number. Once activated, your old card will then automatically be disabled.
Note: If you have not already made a request for a new card in advance, we'll send your replacement card to your registered residential address 28 days before your card's expiry date. Do note that if your residential address has not been updated, a fee of S$10 will be applicable to replace a card sent to an address wrongly registered to your account.
