If your cashback seems missing or lower than expected, here's what you can check:
Review the types of deals
There are three types of deals on YouTrip Perks:
- Promo Codes
- Cashback Deals
- Direct Discount Deals
Not all deals have a cashback component. Always check the merchant’s page to confirm the type of deal offered.
Review the Terms & Conditions, and if you followed through the steps
Review the individual offer’s Terms & Conditions by selecting the merchant you want to purchase from our YouTrip Perks rewards programme by tapping on the terms and conditions.
Ensure the following:
- Your transaction is completed, and you did not cancel, return, or exchange your order.
- The store’s terms and conditions have been met. Check the Terms & Conditions on the respective Perks details.
- You did not click on a third-party offer or advertisement before or during your purchase process.
Check where the cashback is supposed to be paid
Cashback may be:
- Credited directly to your YouTrip Wallet, or
- Paid through the merchant’s website
Multiple purchases from one merchant may be combined into one cashback transaction instead of several smaller payouts. Always check the merchant’s Terms & Conditions on YouTrip Perks for confirmation.
Check when the cashback is supposed to arrive
Payment schedules vary by merchant. Check the timeline to understand when your cashback will arrive.
- For Perks cashback, most cashback is only disbursed a month after the purchase, and some will only be disbursed after your activity/stay/flight. Check the Perk details page for exact details.
- For Social Campaign cashback, most cashback is disbursed from a few days to a few weeks after the end of the campaign. Check the campaign page and its terms & conditions for exact details. You may also refer to the following FAQ here to learn more.

What if I still didn’t receive my cashback?
If you’ve waited past the stated timeline and the cashback is still missing, it’s likely that:
- The merchant’s Terms & Conditions were not fully met, or
- The purchase was not eligible for a cashback, or
- The purchase could not be tracked (for example, missing a required step such as enabling cookies or staying in the same purchase window)
You won't be eligible for the cashback if you do not meet the individual merchant's Terms & Conditions.
