YouTrip Split lets you divide expenses with friends and family without messy calculations or confusing currency conversions. It keeps everything organised in one place so you can focus on enjoying the moment, not tracking who owes what.
With YouTrip Split, you can:
- Split actual expenses by tapping any transaction in your YouTrip app to split
- Instantly settle & track repayments in-app
- Settle bills exactly how they were paid, either in the same wallet currency charged or in SGD
- Count on automatic notifications to remind everyone to settle up.
- Track who has paid, all in one view
Here’s how to create and manage a split:
To create a split:
1. Tap on ‘Transfer’
2. Tap on ‘Split with friends’
3. You can ‘create a new split’
4. Select the transaction(s) you want to split
You can select up to 20 transactions.
5. Give your split a name, if you like
6. Choose who to split with
You can split with up to 20 contacts.
7. Select how you want to split the bill
Choose to split equally or customise by exact amount, percentage or number of shares.
8. Review the amounts and slide ‘Request Split’ to send your request
You can also group and manage multiple transactions together for one shared split.
If your friends repay you through YouTrip Split, they’ll be automatically marked as paid. No manual work required.
If your friend pays you elsewhere, you can manually tap on the checkbox beside their name to mark them as paid.
To manage a split:
1. Go to the Split Details page
2. Tap a name to mark as paid
3. Mark all as paid once everyone’s settled
