Before using an eSIM, make sure your device:
- Is eSIM compatible
- Is carrier-unlocked (meaning your network provider allows your device to connect to SIM plans from other providers)
- Has not been jailbroken (iPhone) or rooted (Android)
YouTrip’s eSIM works on most eSIM-compatible smartphones, including the latest models of iPhone, Samsung, Google Pixel, and other flagship brands.
You can check your device settings to confirm if it is eSIM compatible:
- iPhone: Go to Settings > Mobile Data > Add eSIM
- Android: Go to Settings > Connections > SIM Manager > Add eSIM
If you do not see the option to add an eSIM, your device may not be supported.
