Purchasing an eSIM is easy, fast and can be done entirely within the YouTrip app.
Before you buy, please note:
- All eSIM purchases are charged in SGD.
- Since YouTrip's SmartExchange™ feature isn't enabled for eSIM purchases, make sure you have enough balance in your SGD wallet to complete the transaction.
- Data-Only: The eSIM plans are typically Data-only, meaning calls and SMS are not included.
Once purchased, your eSIM will appear in your app along with installation instructions and plan validity details. You can install it before your trip, and it will activate automatically when you arrive and connect to a supported network.
To buy an eSIM for your next trip, follow the steps below:
1) Tap the ‘Travel’ tab at the bottom of the screen.
2) Tap on the ‘eSIM’ option, or select one of the featured popular plans.
3) Select the country or regional bundle plan you wish to purchase an eSIM for.
4) Select and review the data package by considering how much data (in GB) and validity period (in days) suit your travel needs.
5) Once you have reviewed and confirmed the details, ‘Slide to pay’ to purchase your eSIM.
That’s it! You will receive an email notification from us, and you’re set to install your eSIM.
