Once you’ve purchased an eSIM through the YouTrip app, you can install your eSIM in one of three ways: Direct Installation, Scan QR Code, or Manual Installation. eSIM installation usually takes a few minutes as long as your phone is connected to a stable internet connection. You will have to continue to keep your YouTrip app open during installation.
We recommend setting it up before you fly so you’ll get connected automatically once you land.
To set up your eSIM, follow the steps below:
1) Open your YouTrip app and tap on the ‘Travel’ tab at the bottom of the screen
2) Tap on ‘eSIM’
3) Select the data plan or package that you would like to set up and tap ‘Get Started’
4) Tap ‘Install your eSIM’
1) Direct Installation
This would be the fastest and easiest way to install your eSIM.
You can find these details in your eSIM confirmation email or under the ‘Travel’ > ‘eSIM’ section in your app.
