For security reasons, the first physical card must be activated by a parent through the app.
To allow your child to use their physical card, including in-store (POS) and online transactions, parents must first activate the child's physical card and enable online transactions in their app.
How to activate my child's first physical card?
1. Open your YouTrip app and tap on your child's account to switch view
2. Tap the 'Activate card' icon
3. Enter the 10-digit Y-number located at the back of your child's physical YouTrip card
5. Set and confirm a 4-digit ATM & Card PIN for your child for overseas ATM cash withdrawals.
Once completed, your child's card will be successfully activated and ready to use.
Troubleshooting
- If you're unable to activate your child's card, kindly check that the Y-number you've entered is correct.
- If you've requested a new card to be redelivered, please wait for the new card to arrive before attempting to activate it.
