What is Group Split?
Group Split lets you keep all shared expenses for a trip, household, or group of friends in one place within the YouTrip app.
Create a group, add shared expenses, and YouTrip keeps track of who owes who. When you're ready to settle up, you can pay friends back directly in the app — no spreadsheets, no chasing people over chat.
How is a Group Split different from a normal Split?
A normal Split is for a one-off expense. Once everyone has split and settled, you’re done.
A Group Split lets you keep adding shared expenses to the same group over time. You can track everyone’s running balances and settle up whenever you're ready.
Where do I find the Group Split feature?
Tap ‘Split’ on your YouTrip home screen to open YouTrip Split.You'll see two tabs:
- All — Shows all your Groups and one-off Splits
- Groups — Shows only your Groups
To create a new group, tap ‘Create group split’ at the bottom of the screen.
Does Group Split cost anything? Is there a limit to how many groups or expenses I can add?
