Cashback is calculated based on the unique terms and conditions of each merchant. Common factors that can affect your cashback include:
-
Different cashback rates: Cashback percentages may vary depending on the category of your purchase.
-
Purchase eligibility: Some items may not qualify for cashback. For example, certain merchants exclude specific items, ongoing deals or a package selection from receiving cashback.
-
Cashback caps: Some merchants may have a maximum cashback limit.
-
Timing of disbursement: Cashback for certain purchases, such as travel bookings, may only be disbursed after your flight, stay, or activity.
-
Accumulation of multiple purchases per merchant: Perks Cashback is paid once per month per merchant. Multiple eligible purchases in the same month are combined into a single disbursement.
If only some purchases qualify, only those will be included in that month’s cashback. For example, if you bought three items from a merchant, and only two are eligible for Cashback this month (typically because the Cashback can only be disbursed after a flight/stay/activity has been completed), then the Cashback for the first two items will be collated into a single Cashback and disbursed to you this month.
The Cashback on the last item will not arrive until it is eligible for Cashback when all its Cashback criteria are met.
-
Exclusions: Taxes, service charges, delivery fees, and other similar charges are generally not included in cashback.
Check the Details page of your YouTrip Perks for exact information. Cashback amounts may also differ during ongoing promotions.
